Heenal Oza    Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist     07522 855756

BA(HONS), Msc,  MBACP Registered,  DBS Cleared

I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist specialised in working with children and adolescents aged from 4-25 years

I use various modalities in my work, for example, psychotherapy, play therapy, and informal CBT, covering areas such as:

·       Loss and bereavement

·       Anxiety

·       Depression

·       ADHD — Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

·       ASC — Autistic Spectrum Condition

·       Self-harming and suicidal ideations

·       Disordered eating

·       Bullying

·       Abuse and Trauma

·       School issues — for example refusing to go to school

·       Selective mutism

·       Phobias

·       Understanding specific learning difficulties

I provide a bespoke service for each child by assessing and reviewing individual needs. I take into account their level of cognitive processing and personal background (genetic and environmental factors), and only then decide on what modality would best suit the individual.

It is important for me to work with the child on a one-to-one basis, as well as together with their parents/guardians so that we collectively take this journey; addressing the child’s progress, any potential risks and milestones as necessary.

Over the years I have successfully helped many families to deal with their children’s concerns and have helped find a path forward by working in a collaborative way.

Psychoterapeuta

A w rzeczywistości często cierpimy właśnie z powodu unikania trudnych uczuć.

Lęk, nerwica, depresja, fobia, obsesje i kompulsje, żałoba, strata, współuzależnienie, syndrom DDA/DDD, trudności w relacjach, problemy z rozpoznawaniem i wyrażaniem uczuć, psychosomatyka, trudności w odmawianiu i stawianiu granic, nieumiejętność dbania o odpoczynek i czas wolny, nałogowe zachowania i wiele innych…

Jej koszt to £40.

Adres:

5a New Broadway, Ealing Broadway, London W5 5AW, Body & Soul Zone, 1p.

I offer LOW COST: REBT counselling and therapy to anyone living in London as I am a Trainee in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), which is an approach of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). What is REBT?

REBT is a short-term therapy, founded by Albert Ellis (1950s), who defined this therapy as “Humanistic and Philosophical CBT Model”. The therapy is based on a philosophical concept coming from Epictetus (roman philosopher), that says: “People are not disturbed by things, but by the views they take of them”.

We are all disturbed at some point in our life and we feel stuck in an emotional state that stops us from achieving goals in life or the state of well-being.

I offer you confidentiality, support, compassion and guidance, and I will teach you to become your own therapist using the REBT methods and techniques in achieving your emotional well-being and achieving your goals in life, from a rational and healthy perspective.

Fees:

£25 per session, 50 mins.

I encourage you to contact me for a free 20 minutes conversation via a phone call or Skype, where you can present your situation and together we can take the decision of moving forward for the next step, in starting the REBT sessions. I provide REBT counselling and therapy in English language and in Romanian language.
